2026 Pisces New Moon
Author’s note: Saturn & Neptune transiting my 4th House of private life, environment, & ancestry has manifested in me inheriting the responsibility of clearing out my family home for the rest of the month. There’s piles of physical belongings that have accumulated over the past two decades here to sift through with dust on much of it. I’m mentally, emotionally, & physically overwhelmed (allergies), so thank you for your patience as I strive to form some sort of consistent work schedule in the midst of all this change.
HAS COURAGE LEFT THE NOBLE HOUSES OF WESTOROS?
For this packed Piscean new moon, let’s unpack some significant symbolism that merges our current collective with the Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
To read more about the New Moon without the Piscean symbolism, scroll down to the section starting with NEW MOON IN PISCES 28°.
Since Pisces’ modern ruler, Neptune, was discovered in 1846 around the same time as the advent of photography, filmography, height of spiritualism in the Victorian age (affecting our perception of “reality”) I want to add some media that has collectively gained popularity due to its subconscious alignment with the modern times: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
Without spoiling anything, here’s how the newest ASOIF/Game of Thrones show based off of George R.R. Martin’s Hedge Knight novella compilation of the same name is very much astrologically significant & relevant to the current & upcoming generations:
Saturn & Neptune in Aries
This series redefines what it means to be a knight & role model when situationally forced to (before one is “ready” or well-equipped) without losing one’s humanity, empathy, compassion, & romantic idealism for all life.
There are actual consequences of being irresponsible & selfish when placed in an undeserved position of power.
This showing of the healthy masculine is the breath of fresh air & that is SO severely needed at this time, especially to influence the collective & the younger generations.
Uranus in Taurus
We see a desire & vision of the stable, simple life, yet shocking & traumatic events force our main protagonist to break out of his comfort zone. He has a bigger purpose beyond the “comfortable hell” that is tied to the greater collective good.
Pluto in Sagittarius
After many years dealing with emo millennials’ preference for darker, deeper, & more intense themes as seen by Game of Thrones & House of the Dragon, we need some hope & comic relief to keep us progressing forward into the unknown. Enter Sagittarius to carry the torch of collective truth, far & wide.
With Libra sharing the same axis as Aries, we have to remember that balance does not exist in a vacuum. One has to address both sides equally in order to achieve equilibrium. Yes, we have a problem with toxic masculinity running rampant, but we need to address it in ways that aren't going to keep triggering the masculine to double down in denial & defense. (Also, I'm talking about the masculine ENERGY that exists in everyone regardless of gender identification.)
I remember reading somewhere that no one wakes up wanting to be told they're wrong.
What's worse than telling someone they're wrong is providing no seemingly better alternative.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms shows us this better alternative.
The imagery that our wandering hedge knight chooses to represent his legacy is also symbolically significant:
(Include excerpt from George R.R. Martin here, w/ an image to the shield). A shooting star, strong oak tree w/ Summer leaves, a sunset. “I wonder what the new day brings.”
“All men are fools. All men are knights.” - The Fool.
P.S. I'm sure I’m not the first to talk about this publicly, but I've talked about this enough times in private that I figured I'd finally take some courageous action & put some Saturnian structure to my own thoughts in this more public manner.

NEW MOON IN PISCES 28°
This packed Piscean new moon may feel like an emotional echo of our recent Virgo total lunar eclipse while nudging us to step forward into the new realm with courage & compassion.
Things may have been “eclipsed” out of our lives since the 3/3 portal, which forced us to emotionally & somatically tend to what we need for fulfilling & sustainable care all around.
Mercury is right on the North Node, about to go direct a couple days later on March 20th, hours after the start of Aries season. Any truths that have come up for you through various & obscure means is meant to guide you towards the fated new beginnings that demand idealistic vision, bravery, embodiment, & action.
Notable Nuances
(For fellow astro/data-nerds)
This is the final lunation involving Pisces or Virgo over the past couple years while that nodes are along their axis.
Before our next eclipse in Virgo at the end of August (the 27th or 28 depending on timezone), both the true & mean node points will have just entered the Aquarius/Leo axis.
The Sun & Moon are now in the mastery energies of Pisces while Neptune & Saturn have finally moved out of those degrees as of earlier this year. This new moon is bringing illumination & new beginnings over the point that Saturn’s gravity & Neptune’s sensitivities were moving slowly through, especially over the past year.
We have a double stellium of energies with 4 celestial bodies being in Pisces & Aries each. The blend of Pisces & Aries energy is very much giving Fool energy, which makes sense as this a few days away from the start of the new astrological year & Spring Equinox. The transition from Winter to Spring. Surrender to the new beginning w/ faith & hope that you will be held & led to the next cycle.
The Fool is attributed to the planet Uranus in the tarot, & Uranus in Taurus will be making a sextile with the Sun, Moon, Neptune, & Saturn.
Mastery of embodiment & getting used to shaking things up in order to reconnect with our senses & security from within so we can take actions to advocate & build what we externally desire. New beginnings!
This same cluster of planets will be making a sextile to Pluto in Aquarius. Both Pluto & Uranus energies are shaking off any unnecessary excess & stagnancy (hoarding) when it comes to our personal vs communal needs. Again, returning to our intuition & then having the courage to move forward even when the destination hasn’t immediately revealed itself. Animal instinct going off their scent to find their source of nourishment. Their senses when something is wrong &/or they need to move. Pluto & Uranus are aiding us to MOVE. Stop deceiving yourself & just do it.
Both benefics - Venus & Jupiter - will be making an exact square with one another as Jupiter journeys forward. Even though there is tension here, it finds a way to work itself out for the greater good with Venus being in its detriment in Aries & Jupiter being in its exaltation in Cancer.
How this may feel: There may be some debate or delay between passionately pursuing one’s values (Venus in Aries) with what ethos is expanding within the emotional foundation of one’s homefront &/or family (Jupiter in Cancer). Between taking immediate self-serving action & trying to be generous in meeting the needs of your family or homefront. It’s important to remember the oxygen mask analogy here so you can meet both.
Jupiter, now direct, will also be trining Mars in Pisces.
Jupiter’s enabling influence will still be extended towards the North Node & Mercury Rx in Pisces.
When Mercury goes direct, it will catch up with Jupiter & strengthen its companionship as they both track forward on their paths around our Sun.
This is the 7th of 7 lunations occurring at 28°.
2 + 8 = 10 | 1 + 0 = 1

Those with prominent early-degree Cardinal sign energies (Aries, Cancer, Libra, & Capricorn) & Mutable sign energies of Virgo, Pisces, Sagittarius, & Gemini will feel this more intensely as half of the celestial bodies are spread out by degree in these signs, as are the nodes & Black Moon Lilith.

IN SHORT // TIPS
Thanks to Mercury being retrograde in Pisces (the opposite sign of my own Mercury), all my tired mind can come up with is a regurgitation of phrases/proverbs (which honestly tracks with the energy). So here’s me cutting myself some slack by sharing those here & suggesting the Tips in my previous post since this lunation is an echo of the Virgo total lunar eclipse a couple weeks ago.
We’re all connected & sailing through life in different vessels. We’ll each encounter storms, in which the only way out is through. Growth is a spiral.
A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor (last proverb attributed to Franklin D. Roosevelt).
We’re entering uncharted waters & need to keep our wits & guts about us. Give yourselves some grace to feel & possibly grieve as we close a cosmically chaotic astrological year.
And when all else fails, make like Dory from Finding Nemo & just keep swimming.
