How cute is it that Virgo is having its final eclipse* be a Total Lunar Eclipse during the 3/3 portal?
This Blood Moon is on a Tuesday (a Mars-ruled day) at 12° (a Pisces degree).
1 + 2 = 3.
I see what you did there, Virgo.
This lunation is asking us to release any practices that have bogged us down to the point we’ve lost the plot & the overall need to control the outcome lest we suffer more analysis paralysis & anxiety.
Recall your wishes & dreams. Imagine what it would be like to bring some of those to reality.

LET’S GO! or LET IT GO, Virgo?
Virgo is the purist & environmentally-conscious health freak of the zodiac, ruled by Mercury.
Imagine Virgo, in all its humble earth energies, being a seed that needs to be planted in the dark womb of the ground, which Pisces represents. You can only grow once you release the seed to the universe & trust that the universe will co-create with you. Like Aries, once you sprout, it might be wild & messy, but it gets stronger once it's finally out there & facing the challenges of the world in its raw form.
Virgo, Pisces, & Aries (which is the next season we're moving into) asks us to return to the body & feel what our truth is, then move forward with conviction, even if it's not perfect.
That is the lesson in "purity" that these signs can come together on, even if it's a little wild.

*While we’ll have a few more eclipses in Virgo & Pisces within the next year, this is the final eclipse in the series that started on September 17, 2024 that is along the Pisces/Virgo lunar nodes.
The nodes will officially move into the Aquarius/Leo axis in Summer of 2026 with the true nodes shifting around July 28th & the mean/average nodes shifting around August 19th.
Some people are saying this occurred at 3:33am PT, but sources vary.
I'm trying to let my Virgo need for specifics go since it can ruin the magic.
Obviously, this is an important lunation for me. 😂
Even funnier when you notice that this eclipse is squaring Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius.

This lunar energy is what I imagine would be the energy at a conference of holistic healers & service providers. Everyone is wanting to contribute to this compassionate communal connection, even if they’re not directly along the Pisces/Virgo axis.
The ruler of this eclipse is Mercury, which is currently Retrogade (Rx) in Pisces (a sign where it feels felled) & opposing the moon it’s ruling. While the eclipse ruler is uncomfortable being in Pisces (& in Rx, no less), it’s receiving supportive energies from both benefics Venus & Jupiter in their respective exaltations to help rethink things.
It’s giving Hanged Man energy (which is attributed to Neptune, Pisces’ modern ruler).
Mercury Rx asks how does this feel? What does our intuition say?
What is our first instinct before we try to logic things out?
That’s where our truth resides.
I think this is an eclipse portal that is inviting us to recognize we’re all connected in our humanity & that the majority of us want what’s best for the most amount of people. We just have to get back there, & with Mars joining the North Node, Sun, Venus, & Mercury Rx in Pisces, it’ll be hard to ignore the call from inside the house.
Overall, we’re being nudged towards somatic connection while working through subconscious shadows in order to emerge from the earth with renewed strength & clarity come the Spring Equinox on March 20th (which is also when Mercury & our clocks** spring forward).

Notable Nuances
(For fellow astro/data-nerds)
This moon faces off a stellium of planets in Pisces that includes the Sun, Venus, Mercury, & Mars. Both Mars & Mercury Rx will pass over the North Node in Pisces & eclipse point.
Everybody give it up to Venus for doing the most in its exaltation to assist this lunation’s ruler, Mercury, who’s at its fall & retrograde. Venus is also sextiling Uranus in Taurus. This is very much a collective mindset towards a more idealistic future.
Mars, who just entered the sign less than 24hrs prior, is adding pure fuel to this Pisces energy coming in at 0°.
Mars is at 0° Pisces, adding its driving force & passion to the collective’s sensitivities & desperate desires to find a harmonious & compassionate solution (or dissolution) to the needless violence at this time.
This will feel like an increase in challenges, embodiment, &/or action with Pisces topics/areas including intuition. Great time for somatic connection.
This makes sense as many of us are anxiously wondering about what the future will hold following the global events that occurred a few days ago during the Mars & Uranus square (whose energies are still present here) that resulted in the bombing of Iran by the US & Israel.
Then there’s the T-square with the mean/average Sagittarius Black Moon Lilith point being the pinnacle, funneling simmering collective tension towards release that’s related to the dark feminine desire for wildness & freedom that is our natural birthright.
This is the first Pisces/Virgo eclipse where Neptune & Saturn are no longer expressing their energies in Pisces, but instead trying to express their energies in an entirely different & more uncomfortable manner in the Mars-ruled sign of Aries. They’re gaining assistance from Pluto in Aquarius.
Those with prominent Mutable sign energies of Virgo, Pisces, Sagittarius, & Gemini will feel this more intensely as half of the celestial bodies are spread out by degree in these signs, as are the nodes & Black Moon Lilith. In addition, the Pisces’ co-rulers are both directly involved by aspect to this energy.
