This Full Moon in Leo on February 1, 2026 will provide us an illuminating preview of the global disruption that will intensify throughout the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year of the Fire Horse which happens to coincide with the Annular Solar Eclipse in Aquarius.
This is the final lunation during the Year of the Wood Snake to break free from our uncomfortable old skin & use what’s shed as fuel for the fire of our inner horse to roam forward into a dynamic new future.
SUMMARY
Occurring between the signs of Leo & Aquarius, who both celebrate the uniqueness of an individual through generosity (albeit in different ways), this lunation is sounding an alarm from within, calling us to see where we've suppressed or given up our voice & autonomy for too long under false prophets. The simmering energy of reclaiming power back to the (common) people is coming to an intense boil.
Considering that the Full Moon in Leo is opposing every other personal celestial body in the collective-conscious sign of Aquarius - the Sun, Mercury, Venus, & Mars - this is an invitation to notice how what’s stirring in your personal life resonates with the rest of humanity: a feeling of burnout from leaders abusing their limelight & a hunger to take matters back into our own hands for the sake of the greater good. We’re asked to recognize the Prometheus within all of us & take back our power, starting from inside out.
